HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A shooting occurred after a minor fender bender involving a passenger car and a box truck near Clay Road and Greenhouse around 1:40 a.m. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the drivers pulled into a parking lot, where a firearm was displayed and shots were exchanged. Investigators have video footage showing both occupants of the passenger car and the box truck discharging firearms.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a patrol deputy then observed a vehicle run a red light and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was found to have sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
All individuals involved have been detained for further investigation and possible charges.
