TEXAS CITY, TX – Jennifer Renee Laird, the communications director for the City of Texas City, was arrested Thursday morning on a felony warrant for online harassment.
According to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Fugitive Apprehension Division took Laird into custody at approximately 8:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of 9th Avenue North.
The warrant, obtained by the La Marque Police Department, charges Laird with online harassment – name/persona to create page, a third-degree felony.
The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging anyone with information about wanted fugitives to contact the Fugitive Apprehension Division at 409-766-2311.
