HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man was arrested after deputies found him unconscious with a handgun in his hand in the drive-thru of a McDonald’s in the 27500 block of Cypresswood Drive.
The incident occurred around 11:12 p.m. on September 10, 2025. Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded and located the male driver, identified as Cameron Bennett, passed out with a handgun in his left hand. Deputies secured the weapon before detaining him.
According to Constable Mark Herman, Bennett was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. His bond was set at $100 out of County Court 7.
