HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A woman was fatally shot Friday evening after parking in the 6200 block of Sierra Blanca with her brother and boyfriend for a meetup.
The shooting occurred around 7:21 p.m., and deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to an in-progress shooting call. Upon arrival, deputies found an adult white female inside a parked vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. EMS personnel pronounced her deceased at the scene.
According to investigators, the victim and her relatives were at the location for a meetup when an altercation broke out, and the victim was shot. The brother and boyfriend are cooperating with investigators.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case.
