Man charged with strangulation after allegedly assaulting and pinning child’s mother in Lancaster Township parking lot

LANCASTER TOWNSHIP, PA – Angel Green-Almodóvar, of Lancaster, has been charged in connection with a domestic-related assault involving the mother of his child in the 1700 block of Judy Lane.

According to the Lancaster Township Police Department, officers responded on July 22, 2025, to a report of a domestic incident. The investigation revealed that Green-Almodóvar was involved in a verbal altercation with the woman in a parking lot when he allegedly struck her multiple times, pinned her against a vehicle, and strangled her. He fled the scene following the assault.

As a result of the investigation, Green-Almodóvar has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Strangulation (Felony 2)
  • Simple Assault (Misdemeanor 2)
  • Harassment (Summary Offense)

Charges were filed before Magisterial District Judge Mary Mongiovi-Sponaugle of District Court 02-2-03 in Lancaster.
