WILMINGTON, DE – Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 900 block of New Castle Avenue.
The incident took place at approximately 3:18 p.m. on September 21, 2025. Officers responded and located a 36-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional details will be released when available.
