WILMINGTON, DE – Two 15-year-old male juveniles were arrested on gun and drug charges after Wilmington Police observed suspected drug activity in the 400 block of West 7th Street.

According to police, the arrests took place around 12:56 p.m. on September 23, when members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division approached the two juveniles and took them into custody without incident.
One of the juveniles was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun. He was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He was arraigned in New Castle County Family Court and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $7,500 cash-only bail.
The second juvenile was found with 102.8 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
