HOUSTON, TX – A man has been arrested and charged with murder following a deadly stabbing at a home on Broadhurst Drive.
The incident occurred around 1:10 p.m. on September 25 at a residence located at 6 Broadhurst Drive. According to Houston Police, officers responded to a report of a stabbing and found a 40-year-old male with stab wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.
Detectives say the victim and another man got into a physical altercation, during which the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Jose Anthony Campos, allegedly stabbed the victim and fled the scene. Campos was located nearby, detained, and later charged with murder.
He was booked into the Harris County Jail. The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
