ANGLETON, TX – Earlier today, deputies with the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting near Angleton that left two children fatally wounded.
According to investigators, a 13-year-old and a 4-year-old were pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other children, ages 8 and 9, were transported by Life Flight in critical condition.
Deputies stated that all individuals believed to be involved have been detained, and there is no ongoing threat to the community. Evidence is being collected as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
