BATON ROUGE, LA – Baton Rouge Police Homicide detectives have arrested a second suspect in connection with the shooting death of Joseph Mitchell that occurred on September 17, 2025, in the 3900 block of Eleanor Drive.
Larry Thompson was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of first-degree murder, four counts of attempted first-degree murder, and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.
