OAK GROVE, WI – A Fox Lake man has died from injuries sustained in a three-vehicle crash that occurred on September 13, 2025, near the intersection of County Highway A/I and County Highway W, approximately 1.5 miles west of Juneau.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the initial investigation found that Karri Alwin, 52, of Oconomowoc, was driving a pickup truck southbound on County Highway A and attempted to turn left onto County Highway W. At the time, oncoming northbound traffic was slowing or stopped to make a left turn westbound when a motorcycle, legally overtaking traffic on the right, collided with the turning pickup.
The motorcycle was operated by 40-year-old Jason Fox of Fox Lake. A third vehicle, a passenger car driven by Kazuco Ura, 31, of Juneau, was stopped at the intersection and was struck following the initial collision. Neither Alwin nor Ura reported injuries at the scene.
Fox was flown from the crash site with suspected serious but initially believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. On October 7, 2025, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was notified that Fox died in the hospital the day before, on October 6.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, along with Juneau Fire and EMS, Beaver Dam Fire and Paramedics, Horicon Fire Department, Burnett Fire Department, Beaver Dam Police, Flight For Life, the Dodge County Emergency Response Team, and the Dodge County Medical Examiner responded to the scene.
The crash and subsequent death remain under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and the Dodge County Medical Examiner. Questions regarding the incident may be directed to Sheriff Dale J. Schmidt.
