HARRISBURG, PA – A man is wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred in the 2300 block of North Front Street.
According to Harrisburg Police, officers were called to the scene around 10:45 p.m. on October 6, 2025, for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim deceased and made contact with 49-year-old Douglas Spearman. While officers were rendering emergency aid to the victim, Spearman reportedly fled the area.
Through their investigation, detectives determined that Spearman had stabbed the victim shortly before police arrived. He is now being sought on charges of murder, evading arrest or detention, and possession of an instrument of a crime.
Spearman is described as a 49-year-old Black male. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
