TEXAS CITY, TX – The Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant in the 100 block of 20th Avenue North on October 7, 2025, concluding a three-month investigation targeting 33-year-old Cory Devine.
During the search, detectives seized:
- 285 grams of cocaine
- 13,083 grams of THC products
- 507 grams of Xanax
- 15 pounds of marijuana
- $10,852 in U.S. currency
Devine was arrested and charged with:
- Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 (>200g, <400g)
- Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3 (>400g)
- Possession of Marijuana (>5 lbs, ≤50 lbs)
His bond was set at $750,000. The case remains under investigation.
The Task Force thanked the Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit and Crime Scene Unit for their support in executing the search warrant and reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling illegal drug operations in Galveston County.
