WILMINGTON, DE – Police have identified the victim in the October 11, 2025, fatal shooting on Stroud Street as 33-year-old Desmond Scott.
The shooting occurred around 2:36 p.m. in the unit block of Stroud Street. Officers responding to the scene located Scott suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details will be released when available.
