HOUSTON, TX – A suspect was fatally shot during an alleged robbery attempt on E 29th near Airline in the Heights, according to the Houston Police Department.
Preliminary information indicates the suspect attempted to rob another individual, who then shot the suspect.
Despite life-saving efforts, including the application of chest seals by responding units, the suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Houston Fire Department.
The shooter was detained at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
