Two women found dead in Ash Flat home; man sought as person of interest

ASH FLAT, AR – The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office has requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division in the deaths of two women discovered inside a residence on Sweet Clover Lane.

Deputies responded to the home in the 300 block around 3 p.m. on October 21, 2025, after receiving a call about an unresponsive person. Upon arrival, they located two women deceased inside the home.

The victims have been identified as 54-year-old Tonya Stallings and 33-year-old Ashley Stallings, both of Ash Flat. Their bodies have been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for autopsies to determine the cause and manner of death.

Investigators have named 32-year-old Jacob Lowell Smith, also of Ash Flat, as a person of interest. He is considered armed and dangerous.
