HOUSTON, TX – A man was found shot to death inside a vehicle that crashed into a parked car outside a home in the 6400 block of Briar Terrace Saturday night.
Around 9 p.m., residents reported hearing a loud boom just outside their home. When they went outside to investigate, they discovered their parked vehicle had been struck. As they approached the vehicle that caused the crash, they saw the driver had been shot multiple times.
The residents immediately called police. Houston Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the driver deceased at the scene.
At this time, it is unknown what led up to the shooting. The homeowners did not recognize the driver or the vehicle involved. Officers canvassed the area and knocked on nearby doors to collect surveillance footage.
