SANTA MARIA, CA – A 19-year-old Santa Maria man wanted in connection with an attempted murder stemming from a domestic violence incident was arrested Thursday night.
According to the Santa Maria Police Department, officers responded around 10:30 p.m. on November 6, 2025, to a residence in the 1600 block of Chianti Lane to locate the suspect, identified as Anthony Jacob Amador.
Amador was wanted on a $1 million warrant related to an October 22, 2025, domestic violence incident in which he allegedly used a firearm. Police said Amador fled the scene at that time and had remained at large despite ongoing search efforts.
Officers observed signs of activity at the Chianti Lane residence and made contact. Amador was found inside and taken into custody without incident.
He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Northern Branch Jail on the outstanding warrant related to the domestic violence case.
