Man shot multiple times during exchange of gunfire in southwest Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot multiple times in the 5800 block of Heatherbloom in southwest Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting occurred around 10:15 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The Houston Fire Department transported him to a nearby hospital, where he remains in unknown condition.

Police said the victim and another man exchanged gunfire before the second man fled in a white SUV. The suspect is described only as a Black male who left the area after the shooting.
