DERMOTT, AR – The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division is investigating after a man was found dead following an apparent hit-and-run late Saturday evening.
According to the Dermott Police Department, officers discovered 61-year-old Fredrick Woods deceased at the intersection of North Norwood and West Willow streets on November 8, 2025. Evidence at the scene indicates he was struck by a vehicle that fled the area.
Woods’ body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the exact cause and manner of death. The investigation remains ongoing.
