HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A fatal crash involving a pedestrian was reported at the intersection of FM 529 and Jackrabbit Road, which caused FM 529 to be closed in both directions.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded after an adult pedestrian was struck by several vehicles in the intersection. The individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two vehicles did remain at the scene.
The intersection remains closed as the investigation continues.
