HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man in his 20s was fatally shot inside a pickup truck following a possible prearranged meeting in the 8300 block of Vistadale Drive.
The shooting occurred around 3:52 p.m. after Precinct 4 deputies responded to an in-progress call. Upon arrival, deputies found the victim unresponsive inside a truck with multiple gunshot wounds. EMS personnel arrived and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit, the victim had arrived at the location to meet with several individuals. Shortly after, he was reportedly approached by four masked males who may be Hispanic or Black. During the encounter, at least two of the suspects fired into the victim’s truck, killing him.
A drone and K-9 search was conducted by Precinct 4 deputies in the surrounding area. Investigators are asking nearby residents to review any surveillance footage that may have captured the suspects.
