HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A fire damaged at least four units Monday night at the Sedona Apartments South, according to the Community Volunteer Fire Department.
Fire crews were dispatched around 8:52 p.m. to the complex, located on the south side of the property. Two units sustained heavy fire damage through the attic space, and at least two additional units were affected by significant water damage.
All residents were safely out of the building before firefighters arrived. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported.
Due to the attic layout, the fire spread quickly between upper units before being brought under control. Firefighters were able to stop the blaze before it extended through the entire building.
The American Red Cross has been contacted and is assisting displaced residents.
This is a developing story and more information will follow if it becomes available.
