HOUSTON, TX – A Houston Fire Department ambulance was recovered early this morning in southeast Houston after it was reported stolen from a local hospital.
Southeast Patrol officers located the ambulance in the 5200 block of Telephone Road around 5:30 a.m., and one individual was detained at the scene.
The ambulance, RS037, was possibly stolen from St. Joseph Medical Center, though this has not yet been confirmed.
HFD personnel have since picked up the vehicle from the recovery location.
