HOUSTON, TX – Several people were detained and multiple vehicles were towed after Houston police broke up a parking lot takeover at a Chevron gas station on Cullen Boulevard near Almeda-Genoa.
Participants said they were celebrating Martin Luther King Day when officers arrived to disperse the crowd.
The exact number of detentions and towed vehicles has not been released.
