HOUSTON, TX – A heavy truck lost its load after striking the Houston Avenue Bridge while traveling eastbound on the IH-10 Katy Freeway, causing lane closures and debris on the roadway.
Two large boxes fell from the truck following the impact. The contents of the boxes are unknown. Wood debris was also scattered across the freeway.
The incident affected the right shoulder, right lane, and center lane. Crews are working to clear the scene.
