HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A female suspect was taken into custody after a fatal shooting near the 24700 block of Hufsmith Kohrville Road.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies responded to the area where a male had been shot. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Constable Mark Herman stated that deputies with his office also responded to the scene and a suspect was quickly identified. Deputies then coordinated with air support, K9 units, and other assisting agencies to secure the area. According to Constable Herman, the suspect was safely apprehended and taken into custody. He also stated that the case has now been classified as a murder/manslaughter investigation.
