ATASCOCITA, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed while attempting to cross a roadway in the Atascocita area.
The crash occurred around 10:45 p.m. in the 7900 block of FM 1960 East near Pinehurst Trail.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an auto-pedestrian crash at the location. Investigators said a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway when struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with CPR in progress and did not survive.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Deputies said he did not show any signs of intoxication.
The investigation remains ongoing.
