Former Uplift apartment complex catches fire in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A fire was reported at a vacant apartment complex in Houston

The incident occurred at 6605 Hogue at the former Uplift Apartments around 1 a.m.

According to the Houston Fire Department, the apartment complex was vacant at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
