Off-duty Harris County deputy killed in motorcycle crash on Aldine Westfield

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – An off-duty Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy was killed in a crash in the 23000 block of Aldine Westfield near Wood River.

Deputies were dispatched to a major vehicle crash at the intersection of Aldine Westfield and Wood River. Upon arrival, they found a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider, identified as an off-duty deputy riding his personal motorcycle, was found unconscious and unresponsive at the scene. EMS and fire department personnel attempted life-saving measures but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The other vehicle involved remained at the location, and the driver is cooperating with investigators. There were no indicators of intoxication at the time, according to officials.

The Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 4 Accident Investigation Team is conducting the crash investigation. No additional details have been released.
