After-hours task force executes warrant at Mambo’s on Antoine, two arrested

HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police executed a warrant at an after-hours club in northwest Houston following ongoing complaints from neighbors about late-night activity and disturbances, resulting in two arrests.

The enforcement action took place at 6505 Antoine, just south of West Little York, at a business operating as Mambo’s.

According to police, residents from nearby apartment complexes and a church in the area reported the club had been operating until five or six in the morning. Officers said the parking lot was consistently full each night and that patrons were allegedly leaving intoxicated, resulting in accidents and disturbances.

Police said patrol officers with the North Division regularly responded to calls at the location for reported assaults, robberies, thefts and other disturbances.

In response, the Houston Police Department assembled an after-hours task force that included fire marshals, health inspectors, public works officials and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. Authorities said a warrant was executed based on probable cause.

During the operation, officials reported finding the business selling alcohol during prohibited hours. Police said two individuals were arrested for selling alcohol during prohibited hours.

The investigation remains ongoing.
