HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot multiple times following a verbal altercation at a Houston apartment complex.
The shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the courtyard area of the Raghu Apartments located at 8655 Pitner. Officers responded to a shooting call and located an adult Hispanic male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers applied a tourniquet and began first aid measures before Houston Fire Department personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital. The victim is believed to be in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to initial information, a loud verbal altercation reportedly occurred at the apartment complex before the shooting. The suspect produced a firearm and shot the complainant in both knees and the left arm.
No suspect information is available at this time, and people in the area reportedly did not know the suspect or see what happened.
