LA PORTE, TX – A pursuit initiated by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office northbound on State Highway 146 ended near the Swift gas station at SH 146 and Wharton Weems Boulevard, near the Port Crossing Commerce Center.
According to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect sustained some type of injury and was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in downtown Houston. The type of injury has not been specified.
The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
