HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A passenger was killed and a motorcyclist was critically injured following a crash at an intersection in north Harris County.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Stuebner Airline Drive and Lyons School Road. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a motorcycle traveling southbound on Stuebner Airline t-boned a gray Honda that was traveling northbound and attempting to turn westbound onto Lyons School Road.
There were three occupants inside the Honda. The passenger seated closest to the impact was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The motorcycle driver was transported to HCA Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Witnesses indicated that speed did not appear to be a factor, and investigators do not believe alcohol was involved. All drivers remained on scene and were cooperating.
Investigators are working to determine if nearby businesses have surveillance video that may assist in the investigation.
