HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed in a crash involving two 18-wheelers and a passenger vehicle along Wallisville Road.
The crash occurred around 10 p.m. in the 6200 block of Wallisville.
Witnesses told police a red Cadillac CTS was traveling at a very high rate of speed when it went underneath one of the 18-wheelers as they were exiting a private drive. One of the 18-wheelers passed through the vehicle, causing significant damage. The Cadillac then struck a second 18-wheeler before coming to a stop.
The driver of the Cadillac, who was the sole occupant, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Speed is being investigated as a possible factor. Intoxication is not suspected for either of the 18-wheeler drivers.
