HOUSTON, TX – A crash involving an HPD patrol vehicle and a civilian vehicle sent multiple people to the hospital in southeast Houston.
The collision occurred around 12:42 a.m. at the intersection of Reed Road and Rosehaven. According to an HPD Vehicular Crimes Division investigator, the patrol vehicle was traveling code 1 to a call eastbound on Reed with lights and sirens activated when a civilian vehicle made a wide right turn onto Reed from Rosehaven, resulting in the crash.
Occupants from both vehicles were transported to the hospital. The civilian vehicle had juveniles inside, though the exact number of occupants and their ages were not provided.
No one is believed to have sustained serious injuries at this time. No further information has been released.
