HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle along the SH 249 feeder road just north of Schroeder Road.

The crash occurred when the man, believed to be walking on a grass median on the parking lot side, was hit after a vehicle reportedly hit a curb and entered the area.

The victim is described as a Black male, appearing to be around 30 years old.

Witnesses reported the vehicle involved may have been a Chevy Express box truck. The vehicle and driver were later located at a separate location. Intoxication is under investigation.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the crash.
