BAYTOWN, TX – A suspect was injured during an officer-involved shooting near E. Texas Avenue and N. 3rd Street in Baytown after officers responded to a disturbance.

According to the Baytown Police Department, the suspect fired at an officer, who returned fire. The suspect was struck and transported to a hospital for treatment.

The officer was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation.
