Dr. Matthews claims Aubrey Taylor’s Blogspot taken down by Google for falsity

HOUSTON – During a press conference, Dr. Candice Matthews claimed Google removed blogger Aubrey Taylor’s Blogspot page because it contained false information about her and others and announced plans to pursue additional legal action.

Dr. Matthews alleged Taylor has used his Blogspot page to target critics, political opponents and others through his reporting. She also claimed he has worked with both Republican and Democratic political figures in Harris County.

According to Dr. Matthews, her legal team presented evidence to Google showing the content was false, resulting in the removal of the Blogspot page.

“Anytime you get a Google blog closed down, that means you got evidence of falsity,” Dr. Matthews said during the press conference.

Dr. Matthews also said her attorneys recently sent Taylor a cease-and-desist letter over additional statements she claims are defamatory.

According to Dr. Matthews, she previously sued Taylor, but the dispute was resolved through mediation. She alleged Taylor later violated that mediation agreement and said her attorneys now intend to seek additional legal remedies.

Taylor’s response to the allegations was not immediately available.
