BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas — A motorcyclist was killed earlier this morning in a crash involving a sedan at the intersection of the SH 288 service road and Meridiana Parkway.

The crash occurred around 1 a.m. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Deputies with the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating what led to the fatal crash.

Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased.
