HOUSTON, TX — Dr. Matthews said she will continue documenting and publicly examining what she believes are inconsistencies involving Aubrey Taylor and his political activities throughout the midterm election cycle and beyond.

Dr. Matthews said her focus is accountability and transparency, particularly when people accept political money, criticize elected officials or attempt to influence public opinion.
Dr. Matthews also plans to question candidates and elected officials whose campaign finance records show payments or other financial relationships with Taylor, regardless of party affiliation. She said her questions will address payment amounts, services provided and what the public should know about those relationships.
“Do your homework. Follow the money. Review the campaign-finance records. Examine the public statements. Ask questions and demand receipts,” Dr. Matthews said.
Dr. Matthews said she will continue reviewing documented political spending and making those records available for public scrutiny.
“This is bigger than personalities and political parties. Accountability has to apply consistently,” Dr. Matthews said.
