A woman was flown to Memorial Hermann as a precaution after a crash that ended in a Walmart parking lot on Katy Fort Bend Road. Life Flight also landed in the parking lot.

The crash was reported around 8:45 p.m., according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. A white Dodge Challenger was traveling southbound when its front end struck the passenger side of a gray SUV crossing the road westbound.

The SUV’s male passenger was also taken to the hospital. Both occupants were in stable condition. The man driving the Challenger was not injured.

All three people involved were adults. There were no signs of intoxication, and no charges had been filed at the time of the update.
