HOUSTON, TX — A man died after a truck rolled onto him while he and his brother were working on it. The accident happened around 9:58 p.m. last night at the Valencia Spring Branch apartments, located at 9550 Long Point Road.

According to the Houston Police Department, the truck had developed mechanical problems on the driver’s way home and could not be placed in park. It rolled back onto his brother as they worked on it.

Houston Fire Department crews provided lifesaving care, but the man died at a hospital. Police said no charges are expected at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
