KATY, TX – A homicide investigation is underway after a 61-year-old man was rushed to a hospital from Hayman Drive in the Bear Creek Meadows subdivision.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, paramedics were called for a man in cardiac arrest who also had a nose injury. Scans at the hospital later revealed he had been shot in the head.

Investigators detained his roommate for questioning and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
