HOUSTON — An innocent bystander suffered two gunshot wounds after a woman rammed vehicles and an ensuing confrontation led to a shooting in the 5400 block of Selinsky Friday night, police said.
The incident began with an assault involving a woman and her boyfriend for an unknown reason. The woman then rammed vehicles at the location.
One vehicle owner left, returned with additional people and continued the assault on the woman, police said. The arriving group then became involved in a shooting with another group.
Officers found the wounded bystander across the street, a couple of hundred yards away. He was transported to a hospital and was stable with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police received information about at least one additional gunshot victim, whose condition was unknown.
Charges were filed against the woman and the man who returned with additional people. However, the shooter is not in custody.
