HOUSTON, Texas — A 17-year-old male was found shot to death inside an apartment in the 5300 block of North Sam Houston Parkway, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a disturbance call at approximately 5:30 p.m. They found the teenager unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound in the living room. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The teenager’s parents and older sister were in different parts of the residence when they heard one gunshot. His father came out and saw two Black males wearing dark hoodies standing at the apartment door. The two fled.

Investigators had no additional suspect descriptions or vehicle information.
