HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Ronald Davis, 65, died after a three-vehicle crash on the Northwest Freeway on Sunday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched around 9:17 p.m. to the crash in the 18700 block of the Northwest Freeway. Investigators said Davis was traveling westbound when he failed to stay in a single lane and lost control of his vehicle.

Davis’ vehicle crossed multiple freeway lanes and struck a Toyota 4Runner. His vehicle then changed direction, traveled north and struck a Kia Forte before coming to rest against the freeway’s concrete wall.

Jersey Village paramedics transported Davis to HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress, where he died from his injuries.

The case remains open and is being investigated by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
