On March 18, 2023, a man was critically injured after being shot in the chest at some point during an argument outside a Taco Bell.

The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Police found the victim near the Village at West University Apartments on the 5100 block of Edloe Street.

He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
