Houston police are investigating the death of a woman in her mid-40s found deceased in her car in the 4800 block of Briscoe.
According to police, the woman went missing in the Willowbrook area of Houston after she went to a local convenience store to get snacks around 1 a.m. After she did not return home as planned, the family tracked her phone and found her deceased inside her vehicle in Southeast Houston around 7 p.m. with signs of blunt force trauma.
The exact cause of death is pending further investigation by the Medical Examiner.
