WEST HEMPFIELD TWP, PA – A West Hempfield Township man has been charged after a domestic dispute turned deadly, resulting in the deaths of his estranged wife and sister-in-law, and serious injuries to his adult son. Santiago Payano-Sanchez, 63, faces two counts of criminal homicide and additional charges including attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, and possession of an instrument of crime. The shooting occurred at Payano-Sanchez’s residence in the 2100 block of Oak Hollow Drive. His estranged wife, Ana Gutierrez-Cedano, 59, and her sister, Dominga Cedano-Cedano, 74, were both killed. ANCHORAGE, AK – Anchorage Police responded to a welfare check near Mile 97 of the Seward Highway at 5:40 p.m. on October 4, 2025, and discovered a deceased adult male at the scene. Officers located a crashed motorcycle nearby. A preliminary investigation indicates the incident was a single-vehicle crash. WEST HELENA, AR – A Phillips County jury has sentenced Donterious Stephens, 21, of Helena-West Helena, to life in prison for the 2024 prom night shooting death of 18-year-old Lorenzo Harrison III. On Friday, October 3, 2025, Stephens was convicted of First-Degree Murder and received an additional 15-year sentence for a firearm enhancement. The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division and the Phillips County Sheriff's Office led the investigation, which identified Stephens as the suspect in the April 20, 2024, shooting. The incident occurred across the street from the Ater Warehouse in West Helena, where a post-prom party was taking place following Central High School’s prom. Harrison, a CHS senior, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
